Protect Your Baby From RSV Infection

Update: April 24, 2025

RSV season comes every fall, causing annual outbreaks of respiratory illness in all age groups. Infants are particularly vulnerable to more severe infection. RSV is the leading cause of hospitalization during infancy.

There are two ways to protect your baby from RSV this season. One is an RSV vaccine given during pregnancy between 32+0 and 36+6 weeks. The other is an RSV immunization given to babies. In most cases, the recommendation is either to vaccinate during pregnancy or give RSV immunization to the infant, but not both.

Please refer to the CDC RSV Prevention website for additional information or ask your healthcare provider.
